“What exactly fills those hours every month?”

Fair question — and the most common one we get. Hours are real execution work, not retainer padding. Some of it is one-time setup (audit, site structure, schema, citation or catalog clean-up) that happens in month one. The rest is recurring work that has to keep running because rankings are a position you defend, not a project you finish. Every package below shows the split side-by-side for all three engagement tracks — Local · GBP, Ecommerce , and SaaS · B2B — so you can see exactly where the same hours go for each type of client.

Why This Runs Every Month

Rankings are a position you hold, not a project you finish. Competitors keep publishing, Google keeps updating, reviews and GBP signals decay. Each month these 25 hours defend and extend the position — fresh content, new local or product signals, technical upkeep, and link growth that compounds rather than resets.

Questions Agency Owners Ask Us Most

Why do you offer hours-based packages instead of deliverable-based?

Deliverable packages create scope debates on the other hand hours create transparency. Every conversation becomes “what’s the math” instead of “what counts as included.” It also lets the same tier flex across different client situations - a Foundation client might need more GBP work one month and more content the next. Hours are allocated dynamically based on what the client actually needs.

Can we mix tiers across clients?

Yes. Each client project is priced independently at the tier that matches their retainer size. You might have 4 Foundation clients, 6 Standard, and 1 Pro running simultaneously. Pricing is per-project, not per-agency.

What if my client only wants Google Ads management, not SEO?

SEO is the anchor, we don’t sell supporting services standalone. Google Ads and WordPress work draw from the tier’s hour allocation, same as any other work. An agency partner who wants heavy ads management would use more of their Standard or Pro hours toward Ads and fewer toward content. The flexibility is the point.

Why is the rollover capped at 20%?

It lets agencies carry forward some unused hours during slower months without letting hours build up indefinitely.

What happens if we go over hours in a month?

Two things can happen. You get written notice before any work continues beyond the included hours. From there: either approve overage at the tier’s effective hourly rate (typically $28-30/hour, varies by tier), or pause the over-hours work until the next billing cycle, or upgrade to the next tier with hours pro-rated for the rest of the current month. Your choice, no work happens without approval.

How does the discovery call factor into pricing?

The first discovery call (30 minutes) is free and not counted against any tier. Subsequent scoping conversations before partnership formalizes are also free. Hours only start counting once the engagement is signed and onboarding begins.

Are there setup fees or onboarding charges?

There’s no setup fees. The 30-day onboarding is included in the first month’s hours (typically 8-12 hours of the allocation go toward intake, audit, and strategy formation in month one). We don’t charge separately for kickoff work.

Do you offer volume discounts for agencies with many clients?

Hour rates already build in tier-volume efficiency - Foundation is $26/hour effective, Authority is $22.85/hour effective. Beyond that, we don’t offer additional volume discounts. Pricing is the same whether you’re our second partner or our twentieth. We don’t want early movers paying less than later partners for the same work.

Why no quarterly or annual discount?

Discount lock-ins are something providers offer when they’re worried about retention. We’re not. If the partnership is working, you’ll stay because the work is valuable. If it isn’t working, no discount should keep you locked in. Monthly billing with 30-day notice is how confident providers price.

What’s the minimum commitment to start?

We start with a 90-day pilot on one project at standard tier pricing, no long-term commitment. The pilot validates fit on both sides. After the pilot, scaled partnerships move to monthly retainer with 30-day notice in either direction.
